About SAP Programs

Seniors chem-free socials are held once every 3 months at the Fort Frances Volunteer Bureau.

In partnership with the Volunteer Bureau, Good Neighbours coalition, the Senior's Coalition, the Northwestern Health Unit, and the S.A.P. team these socials are put on each with a particular theme in mind.

We have had a social during valentines, a summer Hawaii theme, and the next one will be our Halloween dance.

Marvin and the Pinetoppers provide the music and snacks and alcohol-free beverages are provided.

On average about 70-80 seniors normally attend these socials.

It's just a really great safer way for seniors to get out, mingle with each other, and have a good time.

For more information, please email us and we will be sure to put you in touch with our local Senior's Coalition.
